Skid ◊ 2006-08-11 11:25	The car appears to be a Volkswagen-based replica...a good one, but a lot of factors like the stance, the wheels, and that cheap-looking aftermarket steering wheel have me thinking it's not the real deal. Plus the fact that they crashed it.
Alexander ◊ 2006-08-13 12:41	It is a replica of a 1957 356A. Just count the hood-cover buttons. I cannot say who made it. Possibly 'Vintage Speedsters', but that is just an educated guess. bluecoupes ◊ 2016-01-11 04:18	There are photos of two different cars here…. a kit car speedster and the wrecked car which is a T5 356b coupe 1960-62 with the roof cut off to make it look like a speedster ...look at the high position of the headlights and horn grill cutouts!. The disassembled engine you see is clearly a vw with single carb intake manifold and round oil sump hole in the bottom of the engine case
