Left-parking wipers make this a 1965-67 |

The demolished Convertible on the left thumbnail is a 1973-only MY due the pre-1974 bumper and the colour "türkismetallic" [L95B] |

Demolished? It's dented but not completely destroyed. |

Damaged enough, that it's worth to smack the causer. |

Intersting, were/is there U.S. regulations on which direction wipers are parked? |

@jettalover: With the introduction of the new "curved" windscreen MY 1965 they also changed the parking position of the (slightly larger) wipers. Why? Despite beeing in the driver's view, I guess it meant you could push the water out of the driver's main view in stead of leaving a puddle that blew up in his view, if enough air speed. Modern wipers (as on the 1303) are mostly offset, so the water acummulated in front of the driver gets thrown over or along the A-pillar. And to answer your question: None that I know of. -- Last edit: 2012-07-26 11:18:46 |
