USA spec. Looks like Yugo GVL due to script at the rear windows corner... |

What's the difference between this and the usual GV? |

I think that GV was a basic entry-level model, and GVL had some extras -- Last edit: 2023-10-14 23:11:04 |

The GV came in other trim levels as well. From Wikipedia: Yugo GV (United States) Yugo GV Plus Automatic (U.S.) Yugo GV Sport (U.S.) Yugo GVC (U.S.) Yugo GVL (U.S.) Yugo GVS (U.S.) Yugo GVX (1.3L EFI engine) (U.S.) All seem to be uniquely rare in their own. |

Apparently 86-87 only one model offered, the 1.1 GV. Then for 1988-89, GV was base model, GVL had better seats, GVS had better better seats (velour) and stereo radio-cassette, and top of the tree was GVX with 1.3, 5 speed, front spoiler, body kit, and fogs. 1990 all replaced by single version GV Plus with 1.3 injection, and Cabrio added. Then Yugo went bust at the end of the year. |
