"C-20" doesn't refer to a cab. According to this : http://www.camionesclasicos.com/FORO/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=6086 , the range went from C-14 to C-38. The 6x4 variants were called C-2664, C-3064 and C-3464, according to their maximum weight. But that's not all. At the link, all catalog photos show the trucks with a "300" badge on the grille, so they should be called the 300 series, as they were in Great-Britain, and yet, it's never mentioned. All types are written as "C" + first two digits of the max weight + (sometimes) two digits meaning the axle layout + "T" (if tractor) + "turbo" (if turbocharged) + the maximum power in hp. Said hp rating could be 300, or something else. Does anyone know why the "300" badge isn't mentioned ? Should we rename entries ? In the database, some Barreiros are labeled C-something, while some are labeled 300. /vehicles_make-Dodge+Barreiros.html Also, a few are labeled 4220 or 4238, without a "C-" before. I suppose that was before the Dodge badges appeared on the trucks ? |
