It is a Toyota; sold in South Africa as the TUV (Toyota Utility Van), Indonesian in origin if I am not mistaken. It was the forerunner of the (much improved) vehicle garco linked to above. I don't know what it was called in other markets? |

Ah, here it is: First or more likely second generation Toyota Kijang (http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Toyota-Kijang), 1977 - 1986. The Venture that garco linked to was the third generation. More recent models are very closely related to the Toyota Revo (http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Toyota-Revo) that was introduced in 1998, if not the same. |

Maybe second generation - 1981-1986 - but with older front...? (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3242945) And: The Toyota Tamaraw is an entry-level bare-bones AUV/SUV sold, designed and conceptualized in the Philippines, made by Toyota. "Tamaraw" means water buffalo in Filipino-Tagalog. The Tamaraw was first introduced in 1977 and it has since gone on to become regarded as the country's "People's Car". This car is also sold in other countries, and is known as Kijang in the Indonesia and Brunei, Toyota Unser in Malaysia, Toyota Zace in Taiwan,Toyota Qualis and Innova in India and Nepal, and Toyota Condor in South Africa.
