What can I say, I’m speechless. It is almost every car enthusiast’s fantasy to have their favorite classic car brand-new again. Hopefully DMC's new owners will find some way to design a second generation version later on down the road. I would like to see the DMC 12 keep going. Video for the episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHqz-R18FxI |

Is this one really one of the new ones? Or just an old one used to say they will make new ones? ![]() |

Good question, wonder if they used a old one vs. a new one. Also doesn’t it look to have a pen stripe ? |

This one was built using old parts. It's similar to the original but they put in a flip-up stereo. You'd think they'd fix some of the previous issues instead of just building them using NOS parts. |

Weren't the production-tools all destroyed? Or thrown into the ocean? I think, there had happened something like this. A Japanese friend of me had a DMC 12, when he lived in the USA for some years. He said, that it was a disaster-car, horrible quality, worse than the Maserati Biturbo, he used to own, too. |

I read that they do mod the motor a little, giving it an extra 40 to 50 hp, somewhere in that range. There are other upgrades to the car too, but they never went into exact details. |

The presses for the body panels were thrown into the ocean, but there are still enough parts left for thousands of cars. Oh, and UK-built. |

Why were the presses thrown into the ocean(Atlantic?)? |

No this one as it is labeled 2009 would be USA built not UK built. |

If I had my own Delorean, I'd want it to be electric. |
