Ingo ◊ 2009-04-26 19:09	I would say only 1971. It looks like a 1500 Convertible, which was built until 1971. Then Karmann took the 1302 ("Super Beetle") as basis. The 1302 has the flat frontscreen, too, but the bigger front hood. The car here looks, like it had the flat front (so a pre-1971 1500). After 1973 the VW Convertible was based on the 1303 "Super Beetle", to identify by the rounded front screen. This car looks quite rough and it's smeared with filler all around, so perhaps it's a 1969- or 1970-model, which got a 1971+ indicator (or a 1971 fender).
