The well known motorbikes champion Angel Nieto, tested the Simca 900 in a 1970 magazine. Price of the magazine: 10pts=0'06 Eur/cents.

@vilero: would it be possible for you to look for issues of this magazine with articles about the K 70? Due the minimal export to Spain (and because eBay seems not to be real popular in Spain), I still have no Spanish magazines in my collection. ;)

This one reviews the K70, magazine from 1971.

Oh, thanks for the link. I have written it on my "to buy"-list for K 70-literature. But even the magazine seems to be rare outside Spain, I will not pay 12 Euro for it. Sooner or later I will find a cheaper one...

You're the expert on this i guess, so you'll know ;) did you know about this? http://www.buttongeneration.com/vwk70/es_index.php

Sure, the webmaster is my friend Eduardo from Las Palmas. He got the 1972-K 70 of his grandfather.
Oh, I have seen, that he has repaired the forum.

Because my Spanish is very weak, Edu helps me to translate the questions of the owner of the only K 70 in Chile. :)

Which province is the taxi from?

I remember in Salamanca, they used to have a yellow stripe but it covered only the doors...

Never seen a Simca 900 as a taxi though...

¿De que provincia se supone que era el taxi?

I think they used black with yellow stripes in Madrid for mini taxis (normal taxis were black with a thinner red stripe).

Edit: Yes, cf /vehicle.php?id=194847

Este era un "Microtaxi" de Madrid. Era un servicio de taxi mas barato, y en el que se usaban coches mas pequeños que los Dodge Dart Diesel, Seat 1500 etc. Generalmente Simca 1000, Renault 4, Seat 800...

La librea madrileña era azul y amarillo.
