 Chevrolet hood side emblem, so not a GMC New Design, but a 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design stake. With the 1947-53 cab, the 1947-50 doors and the 1949-50 hood side emblem.
No stake model for the ½-ton 3100. And it seems indeed to be the 125¼"/3.18 m wheelbase of the ¾-ton 3600 model (to be compared to the 137"/3.48 m wheelbase of the 1-ton 3800).
As 3600 stake, it was sold with the 3609 code.
