It looks like a 1948 Packard Superclipper 4dr sedan

I don't like the grill for a 1947. To me it looks more like 1948-1950

Sorry, you are correct, 47 was a typo, the grill molding on the 48 is correct, the grill on a 50 has vertical ribs, whereas the 48 is an egg crate type. see link, cursor down half way to 1948 Packard superclipper convertible. http://www.imperialclub.com/IML-specific/Spotlight/Nov02/

Packard Custom Eight Touring Sedan Model 2206 , 22nd series ,1948.The name Super Clipper was no longer used on 1948 cars. The big Custom Eights had the egg crate grille

Right of the packard Custom Eight is a Cadillac Series Sixty Special Sedan of 1948 , and behind a 1949 Plymouth Special de Luxe.Behind the Cadillac a 1947-8 Kaiser or Frazer

That Cadillac is a 1949, not a '48.
Note full with upper grille section.

Funny to see how the cowling is open by the left side with the hinge on the left !
