Not an Opel Olympia Rekord? I thought they all had the Olympia name attached until '58. -- Last edit: 2009-02-04 16:32:43 |

I don't know ..there are some similar listed as Opel Rekord, that's why I named it like this, but maybe you're right |

Seems to depend on the country. Here's a Swedish ad from '56 that has the Olympia and Rekord as separate models: www.medial.com/opel/rekoly.htm. |

Daf555 knows about the names of these Opels... Note the two-tone Peugeot 403 in the background, with a similar paint scheme as /vehicle.php?id=153184 |

These names keep confusing, Opel hasn´t made it easy for us ![]() But here´s an earlier debate on the matter and how I believe it is: /vehicle.php?id=65029 They also gave them separate chassiscodes 1953-57. [OL-53] for the 1953-54 Olympia Rekord [OL-55] for the 1955 Olympia and [R-55] for the 1955 Rekord Same pattern used for 1956 and 1957 models -- Last edit: 2009-03-02 20:44:06 |
