I'm interested to see a picture of it - I believe only three were built, right? |

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilncfLtEfOU . Google has far more entries than there were cars. |

Three and two survived. The one in film was in creme color. It was only a bit visible and actually it should not be visible, as the scene was set in the 1970's (they made these prototypes since 1982). It was very close to start the production. In fact, though not very attractive body (not to say ugly ), technically it would be quite modern car, perhaps the last chance of FSO to survive in the key moment - "the day before" the economic changes. Modern compact and FWD (finally) car would make them more attractive to the investor, but in the mid-80's FSO started some negotitaions with Fiat about new licence (car later known as Tipo) and even signed the agreement... however finally there were no Warses nor Tipos. In similar situation was the nice 1982/83 FSM Beskid (killed in the same time by the more safety cooperation and the project of the future Cinquecento): Link to "c.wrzuta.pl" |

Ep. 18. Wars was featuring the scene a day before opening OBR FSO in 1968. |
