Is it just me, or are a bunch of cars sold in Australia from America? |

Why do all the trucks in this movie have brush guards? -- Last edit: 2007-10-14 21:29:07 |

They ain't brush guards, mate, they're roo-bars - for killing straying kangaroos with. -- Last edit: 2007-10-14 21:40:54 (Yvon52) |

Too right it is, sport. And they can't play bloody rugby either ... |

ROFL at the roos. |

Poor roos ... I hope the Australians don’t mow down the roos while they are driving like NC drivers run over deer here in North Carolina. Its not uncommon here, to see a dead deer laying on the side of the road, along with parts of the vehicle that hit it. -- Last edit: 2007-10-14 23:43:04 |

I'm afraid they do, Neptune. Apparently roos are even less traffic-conscious than deer. Not only trucks like this one, but even 4x4s and utes (pickups to you and me), when used in the outback, are fitted with roo-bars; which spawned a fashion for fitting them to 4x4s in the UK. Kangaroos being relatively rare here, the authorities took a dim view of this as they proved lethal to pedestrians as well; metal roo-bars are now outlawed. |

Is this Australian version? I see different turn signal lamp style from USA version as well as white running light above the headlight. |
