The Duesenberg looked for is a 1935 Model J Supercharged (SJ is not an offivial designation); engine No. J-585; chassis number 2614, with Speedster coachwork by Gurney Nutting. It was ordered by the Maharaja of Indore and delivered in London. |

This would be the 1930 Duesenberg formerly owned by Tyrone Power, who bought the car from Buster Keaton's son: Link to "www.mecum.com" although I don't understand why he has it on UK registration. (JBT 532) Tyrone Power whose daughter had a couple of big eurohits in the 80's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoqOuPBuTl0 and his granddaughter's disappearance was never solved. Estimated at $1,400,000. Not Sold. |
