YT 8954. Vintage footage, not just a photograph.

Buses on Screen says

" Limousine Buses (1927, British Pathe):
Footage reporting on the first of '200 six-wheeled pneumatic tyred, 62-seat luxury buses'. In the event only 10 of these stylish Dodson bodied Guy BTX entered service with the City Motor Omnibus Company. YT 8954 was new in 1927 and taken into London Transport ownership in 1934, numbered GS21. It is seen in the streets of London, and passing contemporary AEC NS2039 (YE 4304) on service 29C while other NSs pass in the other direction

Happy to post a correction to my own website! The BTX was a three-axle trolleybus. This is a Guy FCX with Dodson body new to The City Motor Omnibus Company in 1927, taken into stock by London Transport in 1934. (source: London Bus File 1933-1939: Double deckers (Ken Glazer). The reference to NS2039 is correct.
