I would actually say that this is a "Made for Movie since I don't think Alan Mann had anything to do with this film or the car. |

The car in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) was done by Alan Mann. This one is clearly a based imitation on the Alan Mann car. So being, it should be categorized under Made for Movie. |

I doubt that it was made for this movie, there is no real reason why they used that car rather than a normal one, except that they probably wanted one looking funny/old. I think I see what you're saying, but the only parts of the car that matches with the one from '68 is the bonnet, the rest of the frame looks to be taken from a small dump truck. I'd say custome made. |
