Only seen briefly in this scene, but later in the movie (00h45) there is a "mild" chase (i.e. without real action) between two of these taxis: The crash at the end is not visible. -- Last edit: 2008-08-18 22:43:52 |

/vehicle_355982-Nissan-Cedric-Y30-1984.html I'm so sorry to contradict, but this is a newer Nissan Y30 280C. |

The big picture first shown is Nissan 280C, its correct (DF1731). The taxi in smaller pictures shown is not the same vehicle. Some of them is a Datsun 220C (DA7047), like the photo below. imageshack.us/photo/my-images/75/taxi004553kj3.jpg/ DF1731 is a Nissan 280C while DA7047 is a Nissan 220C. -- Last edit: 2012-01-17 07:59:04 |

This is Y30 Nissan Cedric. In Hong Kong, all Y30 Nissan Cedric taxis has TD23 (2.3L) Diesel engine (so it is not 280C). To my Hong Kong friend 3ASV6 : DF1731 is Cedric Y30 (a newer generation) and DA7047 is Cedric 430 (older generation). DF1731 is known as "Nissan Cedric" in HK. DA7407 is known as "Datsun 220C" in HK, its engine is SD22, 2.2L From mid 80s, all Nissan cars were started to brand as "Nissan" instead of "Datsun". From your ID, I think you must be a "Bus Fan", right ? |
