British, not German. However, I do feel that new MINIs just aren't the successors to the old ones. |

They aren't indeed, it's just the design, which leans on the original. Same as VW New Beetle, Fiat Cinquecento and many more. I think, the newer Ford Mustang's beongs to them too. Even the Mercedes SLK, SLR and the BMW Z3, Z4 and Z8 have optical reminiscences to classics like the 190 SL, 300 SL and 503 and 507. |
