As you can see, Max crahses it through the front gate of a building, and drives it down the stairs. For those who haven't seen it, I won't reveal what happens after that, but anyway this probably rates three stars at least. |

I wish the Sunbeam had gotten more screen time instead of running out of gas two blocks from the museum. Think of all the now-antique spy/weapon gadgets Carell could've tried (unsuccessfully) to use. BTW, the script on the sides may say "Tiger," but it was actually a look a like 4 cylinder Sunbeam Alpine. Alpines were used in most of the original TV episodes, too. (a machine run wouldn't fit underneath the Tiger's hood with its Ford V8.) |

"The Tiger also featured in the 2008 film adaptation of the Get Smart TV series. A replica Tiger had to be constructed using a stock Sunbeam Alpine and re-created Tiger badging as no available Tiger could be found in Canada, where the film was produced. The production team recorded the sound of an authentic Tiger owned by a collector in Los Angeles and edited it into the film." - from wiki. |
