And 3123CC is the 3.2 engine I suppose (not 3.1)

It used to have to be close to the size IE: 3197cc to count as 3.2 (3123cc in the UK would be a 3.1 :) )

I suppose that Audi cheats on the engine size like on the consumption :D (on some VAG cars you can do a +1 with the number of litters used according to the car's computer, compared to real consumption)

Yes ..a bit of a cheat.! :)
I've had a couple of 350ci engined cars (Buick, Cadillac) which equals 5735cc, but i'm sure they're known as 5.7 litre in the states ;)

I believe the revised Audi 3.2L for '08 actually has closed to 3200 cc's and is not "cheating" anymore. The well known Mustang 5.0L is really a 4.9L. It has 4942 cc's which rounds down to 4.9L. But it is so close to 4950cc's that Ford is barely "cheating" when it calls it a 5.0.
