2nd thumb car in photo is older than Cloud with taller front (Dawn or Wraith, but probably impossible to separate??). Grille top in main and first thumb looks too high above headlight for a Cloud?? DSo all 3 pics could be same car?? |

The shape of the windscreen in the main picture is more akin to that of a Cloud/S Series. The lower camera angle would tend to make the radiator look higher with respect to the screen. A Dawn has, if not coachbuilt, a dead flat windscreen. There were only about 60ish coachbuilt Dawns out of 761 chassis built. The car in the thumb with the girl leaning on it is pre Cloud, see the round subsidiary grilles, not oblong unless some designer felt a bit retrograde and used the older grilles. What can be seen from thumb 1 looks older as well, but if it’s coachbuilt it could be anything, if Standard Steel it looks Dawn/Wraith/MkVI era. -- Last edit: 2022-07-26 23:37:08 |
