That logo beneath the windshield should've been the first giveaway. But I was looking up some White buses, and I didn't find any like this. Once Snookie mentioned it was a GM, my first thought was that it might be a Yellow Coach, which as we all know was the Bus & Taxi division of GM. |

The badge in front belongs to a White, and the arched bottom line of windscreen is typical, but is a little newer than the 1940 788-model. In the book "American Truck&Bus Spotters Guide 1920-1985" those grooved sides can be seen on a 1942 White. |
