According to BLOTW, this is an AEC Swift with Alexander bodywork, but it doesn’t look right.

This is MLL956 which is a Metro Cammell bodied AEC Regal IV which
is registered at 1952/10.

Not quite, as it seems that the plate is genuine, but on another vehicle, a 1969 AEC Swift/Alexander.
