USA version. Probably a A.F.I. plate (American forces in Italy). I remember that even in Germany US troops had got special plates. In the 90s they disappeared for obvious motivations mainly linked to terrorism. I occasionally recognize such cars because thay are often models not available in Europe or are in the US specifications version and therefore with the USA raer plate dimensions configuration. I saw a 1990s Honda Accord coupé never imported in Italy with an Italian plate of the quad type and I beg it was owned by a US officer serving here. |
