Wow, what was this doing in Germany? Since the same car was sold as the Opel Kadett in Germany, why would somebody go out of their way to import this? That's just...bizarre! By the way, shouldn't the model origin be Germany rather than South Korea? I know this version was built in South Korea by Daewoo, but the model was designed in Germany originally wasn't it? |

Was the Daewoo really just a rebadged Opel? I thought it simply had a similar style |

The body and interior were supposed to be identical to its Opel counterpart. Not sure of the mechanical bits. |

The Daewoo Racer (Pontiac LeMans (USA), Passport Optima (Canada)) was the actual Opel Kadett E (minus it's built quality). The later Daewoo Nexia (Daewoo Cielo (USA), Asüna SE/GT (Canada)) was a face lifted version. |

How sure you can be, that it's a real Pontiac Le Mans? It's not impossible, that it's just a Kadett, where Pontiac-spec-parts were mounted. A typical GM-car. You can change parts between them quite easy. So some people in Continental Europe like to mount Vauxhall-grilles and hupcaps on their Opel's. |

Take a Opel Kadett E,Import the"PONTIAC LE MANS-THINGS" like the Grill with the Emblem,the black Tailgate Cover from behind,The Steering Wheel and put it on the Kadett E.It´s cheaper than importing the whole car!! |
