OMG I died and went to heaven. That car is my dream. Btw, does anybody know the lucky person who won that? It sux that there was the contest for it but not for Canadian residents. Sure, Americans get all the fancy things, they think all us Canadians need is a new John Deere. Or ski doo cause we all live in Igloos eh? (That was with funny sarcasm in case you couldn't tell that.)

I am the one that owns the 1969 Mustang Fastback from the movie Death Sentence. It is a cool ride, I really like it, I am going to put it up on my web site soon, I have a thing for movie cars, I also own a Bullitt recreation, Death Proof charger and Vanishing point challenger. Check it out www.toddsclassiccars.com

I checked out your site, saw the home pics of the car. Man! I wish I could've won it...i've never wanted anything so bad in my entire life but that thing...that thing is incredibly mean and sexy. Not to mention my brother-in-laws would crap their pants if they saw and heard it. Big Ford fanatics. And speed addicts too. They also love sound and that car has it all and looks added. Geez...you're one lucky son of a gun. Keep that in mind okay?

toddk is obviously one of the countless losers who think they are 'cool' if they claim to own a car which they DO NOT own. look at his comments, this is his only comment in his whole time here on imdb.

In 69 only the Boss 302 did not have the rear quarter panel scoops. so either it is a Boss 302 or the scoops where filled in.

I checked out your page, The car looks like it has the boss 302 (or big block 4 speed) type shock towers......and no rear quarter panel scoops. This looks like it could have been a real Boss 302 or big block 4 speed car with the scoops filled in or the shock towers where modified

OKAY TODDK-
you are either lying about owning the car or you are The most ignorant person I have ever met...
A: it's an F code mustang which is a 302 with a 2bcarb NOT A F$&* Mach 1 or a 429!! Omg you must not know anything about mustangs...
The Mach 1 offered either a 351 Cleveland or 351 windsor NEVER A 429 or 302!! Trust me I own a 1969 F code fastback(sportsroof) and
I know my mustangs. I also had a 67. So I highly suggest you edit your little webpage you made before you make your self look more ignorant.
B: this car ran a 302 with a 4bcarb a c4 trans and a posi. The confusion was caused due to the body modifications.(luckily I know mustangs)
It had a boss 429 hood scoop, mach1 rear window shades. It did not have a 429 originally. The spoiler was also added from a Mach 1.
I am sorry to troll but I'm restoring my car to be exActly like the 69 from death sentence for years so I know that car VERY WELL(apparently better then it's owner)

God knows why you changed it to a 429 and put a c6 in it and tried to BS everyone.. But whatever the reason the 302 is so good is it wasn't so nose heavy. Which is why
The boss 302(NOT A F CODE EITHER) was rated #1 handling muscle car in 69.

-sources: the VIN on the add on eBay clearly indicates that this car is an F code.

I would buy that car from you but you robbed it of it's collector value...
I bet you don't even know the history of you bullitt.. Haha

Fix your site and try getting facts,

Thanks, Jason

The moter in mustang during movie making, was not a 429.it is a 460 with 429 police heads and offenhouser intake,850 double pumped,I know this because I own moter and c6 trans.toy box in col SD sold both cars to them, and they r the ones that changed moter and trans at there request.and the demon is still in col and being driven every day.

Wildbill.. How can you expect to argue when you can't even manage to spell motor.. And like I said THE VIN NUMBER TELLS ALL! It is obvious it was an F code because the VIN Clearly indicated it! Lol next thing your going to say is Ford made a mistake and gave this Fcode a 460 lolololol just stop the conclusion is it was originally a 302

Hey 69stangman, mister mustang expert, its a 40yr old movie car. Ya I'm sure it still has the original motor in it. Oh and I own a 69 mach 1 f code. The mach package was an appearance package not a performance package. You could have the mach 1 package on any fb with a 302 or bigger. Not just the 351's. My 69 had a 514 in it. You gonna tell me I'm full of shit because an f code didn't have a 514? Motors get changed in 40+ years dipshit. And its a movie car. They had a 429/460 in it for the movie and pulled it out for insurance purposes and put a 302 in it when they sold it. He put the movie motor back in it. Use some logic. If I bought a movie car I would want to put the movie motor back in it too. Duh. How about you learn a lot more before you start calling people liars. I hope my grammar and spelling is all correct so you don't say I'm full of shit because I misspelled a word or used the wrong form of your. From what I just read YOU don't know jack shit about mustangs so sell your mustang and buy a camaro.

Now on a side note to any of the other people who have atleast half a brain, like toddk, I am wanting to figure out how I can get the blueprints for the tribals on this mustang. I am wanting to do my own custom version of that car but want the pattern to match. Anyone have any tips?

TheMustangMan US

2013-12-24 07:10

And if the mach 1 only had a 351c or 351w then you should go to everyone who owns a mach 1 with a 302, 390 or 428 and tell them they are full of shit too. And the side scoops being filled in could be as simple as in the 38 years of its life before the movie the rear quarters got rusted and someone replaced them with 1970 quarters. People, its not a stock, original car. How many star movie cars have the exact equipment they rolled of the showroom floor with?

Ok I think I'm done with my ranting. People like that really piss me off. Especially when they talk like they could look at a single bolt and tell you what year make model and part it came from yet when you listen to their words you start wonder if they know the difference between a steering wheel and a hubcap.

TheMustangMan US

2013-12-24 07:29

If anybody cares to notice the rear window louvers are not for a 69/70 fb. They are square where the 69/70 window is rounded. I'm guessing those louvers are for a 71-73

--> The"MustangMan",
I am honestly really sorry that you don't seem to know what your talking about but I'm not going to be a jerk to you because your not blatantly lying like Tod regarding the mustang..

1-So first off... I'm really sorry to break the news to you but you are absolutely DEAD WRONG about your car it is NOT a Mach 1... Absolutely no F code came with the Mach 1 package.. I'm sorry buddy.. I know that happens to us all you go on Craigslist and find a sweet car go meet the guy and he feeds you a bunch of BS about how your car is a really rare package but unfortunately the Mach 1 was only offered on 351W, 351C, 390(S-code) and yes obviously the famous 428(Q and R-code) but no never the 302 nor the 429...that is why you should REALLY research your car before buying it man! I know your probably going to be pretty upset and you may call the guy you bought it from and chew him out but that's cool man you still have a bad ass car regardless so don't be mad it's not a Mach 1 I mean honestly the Mach decals are slapped on so many 69s anyway if I had a dollar for ever mach 1 clone or tribute I have seen I could buy a real Mach 1(not that I would) but if you REALLY don't believe me
Link to "www.automobile-catalog.com"
I have attached a link on mach1s for you.. Hope it helps man and yea I really know my stangs so please stop.. I mean any true mustang enthusiast knows the Mach 1 was never offered with a 302... So don't act like i dont know what im talking about.. you just look foolish.

2-My argument regarding the engine was completely valid I was pointing out that on his website he had stated the car was a Mach 1 and also that it originally had a 429.. He has since corrected his page to more accurately reflect the actual truth and literally took what I wrote above and put it on his site. Before there was absolutely no mention of it originally being a 302 or an F code. He clearly acquired that information from my post and corrected his page like I suggested he should.(except he still says its a Mach 1 but that's a common mistake for people who are not die hard mustang enthusiasts) PLEASE NOTE I said ORIGINALLY because we were discussing what kind of car was used to MAKE the death sentence stang! But regardless i read that they did use the 302 for filming which is why the burn out scenes were on wet pavement.. Common in hollywood for small blocks. Plus dropping a 429 in a 69 that came with a small block takes a LOT of modification and i am thinking it would be a little extreme for their budget look it up man its a but of work! then to reverse it all?? lol that would cost a quarter of the car! BUT I cannot prove that it was a 302 in the car during filming because I can't find the site that discussed that issue when filming that was many years ago. But it really doesn't matter because I never argued what engine was used in filming. Although I am almost certain it was the 302 I would never argue about something I can't prove with absolute certainty.

3. The argument regarding the actual modifications to the vehicle was simply taking note at what HAS been done to the vehicle it's pretty obvious it's not stock... Jesus.. People were wondering WHAT was done so I pointed out that the scoops were filled.. Possibly to resemble a 69 boss 302 which was the only model in 69 to have them filled.. And I'm not trying to be rude but there is no way rust "filled up" the scoops lol come on that's ridiculous plus off the top of my head I don't think those scoops are metal.. But I could be wrong I don't feel like getting up to check lol regardless though rust can't just fill a hole of that size and if it did you really think they would just sand it and paint over? Lol and I was pointing out the boss 429 hood scoop because as you know it is completely different then the garbage plastic non functional Mach 1 hood scoop. It's bad ass!(I actually just bout a new good with a boss 429 scoop I'm stoked to put it on!) also I made reference to the rear window lovers that they resemble a boss 302 or Mach 1 but yes your right they are slightly different possibly an aftermarket company? I wouldn't say they needed to be taken from a factory mustang. Also that spoiler is likely inspired by the Mach 1 or possibly boss 302 it's clear this car was just a combination of all of the bad ass visual aspects of each model in 69. At a glance I'd say it' looks like it's supposed to be a boss 302 with a boss 429 hood scoop minus the chin spoiler which I think is awesome and would have looked great!

So in summary yes I know mustangs pretty well I wouldn't say I'm an expert but I definitely know enough to pick apart that car. And yes I know a steering wheel from a hub cap? Sorry I know my mustangs. If you REALLY still think I don't know what I'm talking about after this than you are ignorant. Good luck on your stang though! If you get those specs for the decals hook me up I won't be ready to paint for a while though I'm working on possibly dropping a boss 429 in mine first!

It is so funny to read all the post's about this car! I am now the owner of this car and it is undertaking a complete overhaul as we speak.. Transmission, breaks, suspension, body... You name it!
The "work" that has been done to this car over the years has been.. How should I put it... NOT GOOD!

The Mustang has now it's home in NORWAY!
