I guess you mean the one nearest to us ... ![]() If I see it correctly it is a wagon, a Renault Juvaquatre Break [AHG2/R1080/R2100/R2101] (1937-56), renamed to Renault Dauphinoise [R2101] when the Juvaquatre was discontinued (1956-60). I am not sure if it is possible to give an exact year, but Mike knows more about these vehicles ... and probably a few of our other experts, too. /vehicle_135582-Renault-Juvaquatre-Break-R2100-1955.html |

Not easy to tell them apart... but indeed this is a Renault Juvaquatre. The Dauphinoise would have had a clearly visible Renault-rhomb on the grille, and parallel whipers. This could be a Break (wagon) or a Fourgonnette (van). I'm afraid it won't be possible to give the exact year; but maybe Sixcyl can help... |

Well, I'm not so convinced about Juvaquatre Mike's conclusions. We can see the logo Renault on the grill (a brighter point clearly visible), and at the exact area on where should be the right whiper , in the middle of the windscreen oriented from left to right, we can guess a black straight line ...therefore , for me it's a Dauphinoise 1956-60. Now, between Dauphinoise Fourgonnette or Break, we cannot tell really what it is... maybe a Fourgonnette considering the grade of darkness?? |
