1954 (light gray steering wheel) built in Belgium (yellow wheels with black centers). German indicators and nickname was 'Gangsterlimousine' here.

I think this a French Traction 11 B here. The Belgian one had Lambert Nivelles open rim wheels, like these one on a 1954 Belgian model > Link to "www.vanderautomobiles.com"

The French Tractions from the 1950s, still easily available on the native country in the 1980s, and cheap, became very trendy in these years in Germany, and many were imported as so called 'gangsterlimousine', yes.

^Those are different wheels - these were used earlier in 1950 due to a strike at the Citroen factory, forcing the company to briefly import Forrest-built models to France.

These are Lambert Nivelles wheels only used on the Forest models in the 1950s, and in Javel too during this strike, yes, in the spring of 1950. So this BM (Michelin) wheels identifies this Traction as a French one, far more common, even in Germany where the vast majority of the Tractions were imported from the 1980s, from France.
