Indeed, the only Volvo cranes I found are based on commercial Volvo trucks

that's why I think a good idea to try the suggestion made to you... :) cos I myself I am quite curios what this thing is

could we put it as Grove unknown and perhaps if a Grove guru comes along he can point out exact model and chassis ? it may be very likely some local scandinavian chassis
