Bit of a punt, but maybe a rebuilt Thornycroft J Type? |

/v657124.html Main difficulty here is the wheels, most Morris Commercials of this era seem to have artilleries. -- Last edit: 2020-03-15 17:45:29 |

Know little about pre-war stuff but thought this film may suit JFS ![]() That perforated bar below radiator seems to tie in with these Morris Commercials- Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" https://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p1033958234/h2266698d#h2266698d -- Last edit: 2020-03-15 19:40:26 |

That seems quite fair enough. The wheels were probably swapped as a result of wear on the artilleries, I am not quite old enough to be certain, but have read much about the “make do and mend” that was forced upon all during WW2. Thanks for putting this film up. 👍 |

MY 8519 seems to have been late 32 until May 33 - Glass's has an unusual comment about iregularly issued after 4000 at start of 1931. |

Although Mr Newall agrees with Glass’s on this point, 1932 does look a bit late in the day for this design. |

![]() Radiator casting and chassis member as 1-Ton T-type (with I think later bonnet louvres). I don't believe it could be an LT type 12-15cwt ('light tonner') for the louvres and production ended 1930. Comments regarding the non-standard wheels accepted, the cast radiator style does not exist I think without artillery type wheels. T-type production ended with the introduction of the T2 (plated radiator shell) sometime in 1931 - exact date currently unknown as far as I can determine. -- Last edit: 2020-03-16 13:27:32 |

Perforated Front Crossmember means it cannot be a T type or bigger. Bonnet Sides being flared means its post 1932. Those wheels were only fitted to the T3 era vehicles - which were introduced in 1939. So its either a LT2 fitted with later wheels, or something oddball |
