Studebaker, where? That's a 1959 Chrysler next to the dune buggy.

It's a 1960 DeSoto and the buggy is indeed a Meyer's Manx for a change.

That was my first thought. And I was even going to mention the music video for "Nothing," by Velocity Girl as a reference. But then I had a few doubts, and I started to think it was a 1959 Chrysler.

It looks like a 1959 Chrysler, but not a 300. comments??

59 Chryslers, except for the 300 model, had a straight grille with flat-topped fenders. The 300 does share the same center grille, but headlight and bumper treatment are wrong.

Looks like a '60 DeSoto to me,too???

This is clearly a 60 DeSoto. The center grille sits inside of the outer grille, which encompasses the directional indicators. Chrysler indicators sat below and connected to the headlight bezels. Don't know the model unless we see the fender trim, if any exists. The car has only a driver side rear view mirror, but I can't confirm that a passenger side mirror was standard on the Adventurer.

EDIT: sorry I was late to the party on this one!

??? According to my info there were Fireflites and Adventurers in 1960...
3494 x Fireflite hardtop coupe [PS1-L23]
9032 x Fireflite sedan [PS1-L41]
1958 x Fireflite hardtop sedan [PS1-L43]
3092 x Adventurer hardtop coupe [PS3-M23]
5746 x Adventurer sedan [PS3-M41]
2759 x Adventurer hardtop sedan [PS3-M43]
I don't know how to differentiate them, though...

According to my information, there were two DeSoto model lines in 1960. The Fireflite was the entry-level model and the Adventurer was the top-trim-level model.

Of course, in 1961 there were no model names at all - it was just the 1961 DeSoto.
