Yes, Innocenti grille but it lacks vents and on Innocentis this was true for nine months only in 1970. It looks to me a UK Mini with a lot of not original parts and among them the Innocenti grille. Maybe dsl can tell us more. |

Strange mixture of things - agree UK likely. Rear lights are 68+ Mk2 or 70+ Mk3 before 76 Mk4 with bigger outline and reversers. Boot is Mk2, but doors with full winding windows and no quarterlights are UK Mk3. So whichever permutation, at least 2 elements are non-original. Can't decide if external door hinges (Mk2) or internal (Mk3), and I don't know what would happen if you put Mk3 doors on a Mk2. But assuming a boyracer is least likely to change the bootlid, it becomes a Mk2 Austin/Morris 850/1000. If it had been a Cooper, a cool boyracer would probably keep the Cooper bits without mucking them about. |
