My info is incomplete but launched Aug 67 targetted at Mediterranean countries, with Greece the most eager destination, receiving 200 UK builds before MEBEA assembly started Dec 68. Official name was TW9, with Ant a nickname until some unknown date when it was officially adopted - this may have been as late as 1978 when BTB Engineering in UK took over production from Reliant. Greek builds had Herald engines. |

Could be even considered origin Greece then? Which other countries had it? |

I don't think origin Greece works - it was always a UK design. No clue where else it went - our other example is Israel - but Reliant were always trying to get their designs adopted by new markets and/or new parents. Urban legend says that the Citroen BX started as a Reliant design study before being reworked, and I've seen claims that the first Honda Accord Aerodeck had Reliant roots. |

Okay. I wonder which other countries had this one in use. |
