I was thinking 1960 C-30,with the "wrong"(newer)hood?? |

the 60 has single headlights so does the 61 and 62 so its either a 63 with a newer hood or its a 64 but your right on the c-30 part i forgot they made them those years |

With just this picture, how can one tell the difference between a ¾-ton/127" wheelbase C-20 truck and a 1-ton/133" wheelbase C-30 one? Is there another hint to say it is for sure a C-30? Anyway, this truck is a light-duty Apache model (1960-61). And if 100% sure of the C-30 id, it has a [3603] Chevrolet internal code (=Chassis + cab). ⇒ 1960 Chevrolet Apache C-30 [3603] or just ⇒ 1960 Chevrolet Apache (if unsure of the exact model) -- Last edit: 2014-09-27 03:53:30 |

rather "C-Series Apache", no? |

Indeed. I'm continuously jumping from Task-Force to C-Series trucks, from Apache to non-Apache models, so I'm a bit confused... ![]() -- Last edit: 2014-09-30 10:43:22 |
