@bux48 does that trunk lid read 3.0? I believe that motor came later in the run but this example seems to have 1993-1994 tail lamps. The 1993 MY was long indeed so maybe it came later in the 1993 MY run.

Edit: I reread the article and I believe it came on 1993 CD and then in 1994 was transitioned to the GLS.

Quote On the CD, the Chevrolet Omega came with a German engine, a 3.0 in-line six with 2,968 cm3 and all made of cast iron, including the head. As with the 2.0, it had multipoint injection, but delivered 165 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 23.5 kgfm at 4,200 rpm, which was quite high for the torque of such a large engine.

Quote In 1994, GM decided to launch a Chevrolet Omega GL 2.0, with a simpler finish and content. The Diamond series simplified the CD 3.0, converting it into a GLS in practice. In order not to "burn" the product, the automaker was patient until 1995, when it finally gave in to criticism and changed the national engine.
.

I was confusing the 3.0 with 2.0 I believe.

Seems so indeed, if I understood well the article you linked it came in 1994

I was instead confusing the CD availability with GLS :D
