According to the book "Big Rigs of the 1970s" by Ron Adams, the deal whereby White dealers sold Freightliner trucks lasted from 1951 to 1976. The Freightliner conventional was introduced in 1973 as a White/Freightliner and became just Freightliner from 1977. This one could be labeled a 1973 White/Freightliner FLC 12064. The 120 referred to the standard 120 inch cab. Standard powerplant was the 290 Cummins. The cabover models - like the others in the pic - had a choice of five different cab lengths.

You're right but it's a WFC 120. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/robert_dick/wfc12064t_brochure.jpg

What you probably saw was a Prototype Freightliner from 1973.
