The Sambar name wasn't used in Europe, as far as I know. In fact several names were used, depending of the country. Edit : Also, this is a 1.2 version, known as the Domingo in Japan. Re-edit : finding the right name will be difficult. The plate suggests this is a recent "foreign" import to Italy. Targa: FH464SX Regione: Lombardia Cilindrata: 1190 cc Data immatricolazione: 28/04/2017 Perhaps a german or austrian Libero ? Re-re-edit : but then a Google search shows that the full name there was Libero E12, with "Super Deluxe" in full letters instead of "SDX" as trim level. Also, "SR" just means it has a sunroof. Or is the name Libero, with E12 as part of the trim level ? ![]() Link to "www.welt.de" Link to "www.autoscout24.it" https://www.flickr.com/photos/81821776@N06/7511436984 (dutch plate, but it's a second hand import) https://www.flickr.com/photos/theadventurouseye/40583892140/ (czech plate, a german import due to the rear window sticker) https://www.flickr.com/photos/126234780@N08/25783619463/ (this one is interesting : german plate, but no Libero badge) And for comparison purposes, here's a genuine italian one, with just an E12 badge : https://www.flickr.com/photos/lorenzossc/19870574780/ The same goes for this polish one : https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterolthof/20908382304/ -- Last edit: 2018-09-22 00:17:24 |

I can't tell you nothing about this model, but this mean just the number plate is new, could also be that received a new plate just because the old one went lost or stolen and the vehicle being at time sold as new in Italy. |

I think the key to this car's identity is in the rear window sticker. There's a slogan under the Subaru name, I can't read it, but it's not the german "...natürlich mit Allrad" sticker. I've found another one on the web, but just as illegible. https://static.bakeca.it/immagini/16b/16b659ae1125928742d717617d6b9148.jpg |

Looks like it says 'Subaru die welt...' https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/it/e/e9/Vengo_anch%27io_%28film%29.png |

Seems 'die Weltmeister'... probably to celebrate some rallye championship ![]() So it's a car from Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Btw Subaru seems to have sponsored this movie (despite I didn't find it listed in the credits, but the BRZ and Outlook seem product placements), in that case the car was probably provided directly by Subaru... curious that they didn't use a brand new car for this ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-09-22 02:18:42 |

Thanks, now it's clear that it says 'Subaru. Die Weltmeister Marke'. |

Great find ! And as Subaru first won the WRC manufacturer's title in 1995, this is a 1996+ vehicle. |
