You're all right! It's the last full-sized Chevy Blazer / first Chevy Tahoe. It is best described as the GMT400. But yeah, I think it was badged and sold as a Blazer, even though it went down in history as the Tahoe and what everyone thinks of when you say "full-sized Blazer" is the true, K5 with the sharp edges and hard body lines. So, I want to say this is '91-4, and because it's specifically those years you can call them either name, since it was just another scenario in which GM couldn't name one of their cars. |

it can't be a 1991-1993 1991 still had the old body style and this one has the 1994+ grille Tahoe name starts to be used in 1995 -- Last edit: 2017-12-27 14:52:52 |

You're right...1991 was still the old one. But I'm not so sure about that grille. And yeah, the name Tahoe was used later, but referring back, NO ONE calls that a Blazer. In the US, if you said Blazer, you'd either mean the original, or the S-10. You'd only call that a Tahoe. Then again, that's GM's fault, not yours or mine. But can you explain this grille thing, Baube? I don't remember seeing that one at all, and the sealed beam headlights that go with it really only indicate to me that it came with a fleet/base package that maybe I just didn't see out in the real world because most consumers bought a different level of trim..........? |

Yes, '94 would have still been a full-size Blazer. |

yeah, its base/fleet , but as you point out, not really seen often for regular customers, they preferred the other trims front end ( and they're not the only ones.. ) me too sometimes i forget there was a big Blazer between the old K5 and the S-10.. ![]() |

It wasn't between. That's what's so irritating. The 1980s was a time of NO imagination at GM, name-wise. All SUVs were Blazers and Jimmys, and all Oldsmobiles were Cutlasses! But the downsized S-10 Blazer / S-15 Jimmy came out in the early '80s, I think for the 1982 model year. -- Last edit: 2018-01-01 07:42:49 |

by between i meant for design ( as they were renewed in 1992 but the smaller one had to wait until 1995 ), not sure exactly how i can put my idea into words but anyway..... 1st for smaller ones is 1983 i do agree about the lack of imagination, i'm often joking about meals at Oldsmobile's cafeterias having Cutlass in the name as well ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-01-01 08:00:20 |

@ Baube: 1994 Blazer [GMT415] `(by default)´ ? Wikipedia contributors apparently consider the 1992-94 models as K5s too: see the production dates given in the infobox in this article or the name related to the GMT415 platform code here... |

yep, lets go for 1994 Blazer, there is no way to tell them apart unless there is a view of the badge.. seems to be 2wd but i can't accesss wiki right now ![]() or am ifooled by the basic look of it ? ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-01-21 18:18:32 |

This has to be a Tahoe. The 2wd 1992-1994 Blazer was still called the S-10. The "K" Blazer means 4wd. So in 1995 Chevrolet released a 2WD Tahoe along with a 4WD. If they made a 1992-1994 2WD full size Blazer I can't find one on google images with this front; let alone a 2WD model. ![]() |

isn't S-10 this one ? |

Yes. I can see my post is confusing. There is no record of the full size K-1500 Blazer receiving this front. It does not appear in the literature I can dig up. This front came out in 1995 or 1997 for the Tahoe. Not sure which one yet. |
