8-lug wheels says C-20 to me.....a LWB stepside....unusual,and it looks like USAF-issue Blue,too? |

The brackets should be removed from this, and I didn't notice that it had 8-lugs. C-20 it is, then. -- Last edit: 2013-02-11 13:55:55 |

With these new thumbnails provided by no-a shows that has Custom trim level as well. I see repeater at the front fender? |

... also twice the Custom/20 fender emblem, so no more need to count the lugs But Custom had become the basic level, at that time. Is it really worth mentioning? About the repeaters: specific Italian safety device? Could any Italian contributor/visitor say more about it, and when they became mandatory? Or maybe was it shot in Spain, as this country was often used for western and post-apocalyptic desert scene. Some call this kind of films chorizo-spaghetti movies @rjluna: is the inside mirror visible enough to see a 1971 or 1972 only model (I never managed to see the difference so far )? _____ The translation of the Italian title says The Highway Avenger, but the accurate English version of it is Exterminators of the Year 3000: good news, vehicles of the 1970s will last 1,000 years! I think I'd like this Mad Max clone -- Last edit: 2015-04-20 22:43:52 |

I may need to look it up at the Dammann book when I have a chance. I can't tell from here, eLMeR -- Last edit: 2015-05-03 02:39:54 |

I checked the Dammann book and did not mention anything about Cheyenne, Custom Deluxe and Custom. He only mentioned as plain form and the Deluxe trim package throughout 1967-72 generation. |

@rjluna: For the record, the Cheyenne trim was only available from 1971 onwards, the same way the Cheyenne Super one appeared with the 1972 model year. The already linked 1971 brochure says, about the Custom trim: "There is nothing standard about our standard interior." I read this as a basic trim presentation -- Last edit: 2015-05-05 04:54:31 |

Made for Italian due to white front indicators and front fender repeater (sidemarker is blocked out). |
