No "Shop ID" on roof,can't see if emblems are on door?(Roof Lights/PA-Siren are correct,though?)Might be a rented/loaned car from dealer/mfg zone office...looks like it was made up to just look like LAPD car?? (IIRC,1973's "new" cars were AMC Matadors??) |

Danke,Ralph. Looking closer,it looks to have the L.A. city seal,and the word "Police" looks correct,but has no shop number(the unit number of the car)below it??(And missing "To Protect and Serve")My guess is that it's a real Police Package(option A38),but it was used in this film prior to it's actual delivery or assignment?(Or could even be a Factory Demonstrator/Test Car??) |
