If it's the light car in the foreground, it's not a Ford 100E of any sort to me. (Anglia/Prefect/Popular) Anglia and Popular were 2-door saloons. Unlike the 4-door Prefect, the picture's front wheel arch shape is too round. The Prefect was more rectangular in shape. Other details look wrong as well, the rear window is too curved, rear door handle too far back, repeater indicator(or trim?) behind headlight. Not a UK Ford at all I believe. |

I agree with Jun, it's definitely an Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Although not very clear, it seems indeed to be a 2a serie ( introduced in September 1959 ), but it could not be a TI since the hubcaps don't seem to have the centre black Alfa badge ( as can be seen in the car of the link ). -- Last edit: 2007-06-10 00:43:27 |
