Not sure how far it's useful to go down this road, but seems David Brown only made Taskmasters. Tugmasters were conversions of Taskmasters built by Douglas: "The Tugmaster was built by Douglas using a David Brown skid unit but also incorporating parts from other tractor manufacturers, IIRC the steering was Fordson derived." from Link to "hmvf.co.uk" . Might be too complicated/obscure for us to pursue - we seem happy enough to call these as David Brown Taskmasters without problems. |
