When Touring of Milan started assembly of the Sunbeam Venezia (145 made), they also started assembling Super Minxes, sometime about 1963-65. Numbers and precise dates not known, but a few hundred seems a reasonable guess. Date and location suggest this would be a Touring-made car, assumed to be identical to a UK export version of the time which would have been Series 2 from Sept 62. S3 introduced Sept 64 in UK had different cabin. Suggest this one is described as 1963 Series 2 . |
