The truck had a trick door, into the bed. They must have had one truck built like that because some scenes you can make out the door, and others show the bed without it.

Equipped with advanced (at that time) automatic "self locking" front axle hubs. No turn dial for the driver to engage, just a axle hub case which proudly displays "4x4".

Shifter for the part time shift-on-the-move four-wheel drive system with two-speed dual range transfer case.

Note the shifter is pulled back from "2H" (rear two-wheel drive) to "4H" (all four-wheel drive). "N" (neutral, no drive) disengages the T-case, while "4L" (same as 4H) engages low range reduction gearing, sending engine torque through another set of gears.

4H and 4L automatically couple the front and rear drive shafts together for a permanent 50/50 front-to-rear torque distribution. Thus the truck can NEVER be driven on pavement with either 4H or 4L engage. Only 2H is to be used on pavement.

Close-up shots almost always show the polished stainless steel below eyeline mirrors turned downward. They are also almost always dusty and covered in fingerprints.

Most likely they are kept dirty and turned down to prevent unwanted reflections of hidden cameras and film crew ... :D

Interior view of the cab. Sierra Grande (also known as Scottsdale for Chevrolet) included mid range interior appointments. Appointments consisted of subtly grained and textured interior panels, moderate bright work, soft touch dash, door padding, steering wheel, and shifters. Anything that was to be touched was soft touch material. Seating and flooring material was vinyl. Custom vinyl seating was optional.

Plush carpeting, plush custom cloth seating, cloth headliner, brushed aluminium bright work, further interior cab trim with subtle texturing and graining, solar tinted glass and acoustic deadening materials were mainly reserved for luxury and top-of-the-line high end luxury trims.

Only 2H is to be used on pavement.

you got the info wrong it

2H 2WD High Range (Normal everyday driving position)
2L 2WD Low Range (Haven't seen that in many years, but it allows for more rear wheel torque for pulling when 4WD isn't really necessary)
4H 4WD High Range (Sends power to all 4 wheels for high speed driving or for low traction areas where you need the front wheels to help you move such as shallow snow, ice, mud, and sand.)
4L 4WD Low Range (Sends power to all 4 wheels with using a gear reduction in the transfer case that helps produce more torque and slower speeds to help get you moving or keep you moving in deep snow, sand, mud. This position should only be used as a last resort, its not meant for long distance useage, and you should not exceed 25mph in this mode).

the left fuel door is a dummy means it a fake cos the exhaust on the left and it have one front muffler to connect the single exhaust and the fuel tank is one the right side so i say you gave the wrong info about the fuel tank

The Rounded-Line generation was in-fact available with dual fuel tanks in 16 or 20 gallon configurations. Both tanks were located amidships at the sides, with fuel doors enclosing the fuel ports on both the left and right sides.

As for the all-wheel drive system, after 1980, the half-ton and three quarter-ton Rounded-Line pickups used shift-on-the-move four-wheel drive.

It featured a two-speed dual range New Process Gear 208 transfer gearbox with permanent locked front 50:50 rear torque distribution in Four High and Four Low modes.

The all-wheel drive system had a biased front 0:100 rear torque split in Two High mode, and permanent locked front 50:50 rear torque split in Four High, both through planetary direct 1.00:1 ratio high rang gearing.

The planetary direct 1.00:1 ratio high rang gearing was synchronized to allow the vehicle to be shifted from rear-wheel drive to fully-locked all-wheel drive, while on the move, up to 25 mph (40 kph). After the shift to Four High was made, the vehicle could be driven at any speed.

Four Low mode also featured a permanent locked front 50:50 rear torque split, but with planetary reduction 2.61:1 ratio low range gearing. General Motors advised not to drive over 40 mph (60 kph) while in low range.

Neutral mode disengaged both front and rear propeller-shafts.

There was no Two Low mode used with this system.
