I think that's actually a 1992+ (Mercury) SABLE badge on the tailgate.

The color looks like a 90's color as well.

Definitely a facelift version based on the bumper.

I was thinking about this possibility, as "sable" in French means "sand", I thought that the color was more sand than taurus :D

Seems like a Cadillac

Hardly, unless you're unfamiliar with American cars. The only Cadillac wagons you're going to encounter of this era are hearses.

Totally, I'm British so I don't know American cars. I know Canadian cars, so is that close enough?

There aren't many Canadian cars though, unless you mean models exclusively sold in Canada within North America (not in the US)

Cars that are in Stony Plain, Alberta, like an awfully high amount of Minis (go there if you want to play the 'Mini' game)

I think it's named after the animal, which is (was) used to make a type of fur coats.

I used to think because the Taunus was named after the mountain range in Germany, the Taurus was named after the mountains in Turkey. Obviously I was very confused as to how they were American...

As for the Sable thing, I wondered if on French Canadian television they actually said "Leh-Sah-breh," "Leh-Maw" and "Le-Bah-Ron" instead of "LUHSAYBER" "LUHMAYANS" and "LUBBEARIN," and they did.

Taurus is a astrological sign in English. It represents "The Bull" for people born April 21 to May 21.

^I know, I later found that out too. It just seemed logical to me even if the naming didn't make sense.
