Hi, I'm Mark and I'm a Land Rover addict. I own one Land Rover, a 1960 Series 2 88" soft top. My brother owns two, a 1967 Series 2B 110" FC and a 1998 Defender 90 300TDi. We also jointly own a further 7. These are another 1960 Series 2 88" soft top, a 1971 Series 2A 109" 'trayback', a 1971 Series 2A 88" special fitted with a Rover P5 3 litre engine, a 1959 Rover Mk6 4x2 (ex army Series 2 with 2 wheel drive only), a 1966 109" double caba 1967 Series 2A 109" 6 cylinder station wagon, and a Series 3 off road 'toy'. Many of these are currently off the road awating restoration. I am the current Series 2 Land Rover Club technical officer and have held the post for nearly 10 years. Everyone keeps telling me I know an awful lot about Land Rovers, and whilst I do know a lot I'm still learning. Every time I get a spanner out to a Land Rover I find something new and unexpected that most owners wouldn't even notice.
I am also interested in almost anything with more than 2 wheels and have a good basic knowledge of British classics and some from outside the UK, and I own a 1973 Hillman Imp which needs to be rebuilt.
