I didn't find any mention of that title? |

@ eLMeR: I found the French-language version of the movie on VHS (I don't have the means to buy it...) on a Quebec commerce website. It practically said "Double conflit; Original title: Cold Heat". Plus, the French title "Double conflit" means "Double conflict" (not so different, I know...), which fits the plot of the film. -- Last edit: 2015-07-15 03:14:02 |

OK, j'vais remédier. (J'avais oublié de le faire hier.) |

@ DiderF: shouldn't we stick to sourced titles? IMDb don't gives it, and neither do any page talking about this movie. I didn't put this title on purpose when adding the other ones... I'm sorry, PMEntertainmentLives, but I really don't find a single mention of this French/francophone title, whatever the search engine I use. Even the WP francophone page about Ulli Lommel, the director, use the English title. Is this website the one you mention? I'm not sure we can use a website of classified ads as serious reference... By the way, I'm French |

Well, the testimony of PMetc. is a source for me. Admitted sources aren't always reliable, as you know—for cars and for movies the same (I experience this every day)—and what PMEntertainmentLives said… Ah, but he didn't buy the video. So, since he didn't had the proper video in hand (and scanned the cover to post it here), you're right, it's just hear-say. I have been too hasty. I withdraw the falty mention. |

Wait-wait-wait-wait-wait! The pictures posted by that guy showed a legit cover on the VHS showing "Double conflit", plus the actors from Cold Heat. It's a real title. -- Last edit: 2015-07-15 17:56:03 |

That's the one alright! The DOUBLE CONFLIT cover can be seen at the top of the fourth picture. Note that he mistakenly says the film was released in 1981. And before you say there might be other movies called Cold Heat: well, no. Plus, about the WP page, they do name Cold Heat only by its original title... except they're doing the same with all the others. -- Last edit: 2015-07-15 07:40:18 |

I was kind of joking on hyper-criticism, PMetc.. |
◊ 2015-07-15 07:38 |
Uh... what do you mean? What are you talking about? You never said "hyper-criticism". ETA 2021: I wanted to chalk this down to my just being an idiot back then. Turns out, I still don't get it. -- Last edit: 2021-11-19 09:00:11 |

UPDATE: This is actually a 1941 Chevrolet Master De Luxe Coupe from the 1987 movie "Nadine". Also, could someone please remove my previous comments? Instead of disappearing, they all say "deleted comment". -- Last edit: 2017-01-07 07:05:47 |

I did some research. From what I could find, all the stock footage in the movie (save for the footage directly ripped from The Junkman) was originally shot for movies produced by TriStar (Iron Eagle; Nadine; Runaway; Band of the Hand; Three on a Match; the Downtown TV series). Plus some footage shot for an episode of the TV series "Lady Blue" (which was produced by MGM). -- Last edit: 2024-01-24 19:46:49 |
