May have featured green 1937 Alvis Speed 25 SB Cross & Ellis Tourer, BSC 308, chassis 14485 -"Reportedly a veteran of several television series such as 'All Creatures Great and Small' in which it was used by Granville Bennett one of the main characters" |

I never watched this TV series much as not very keen on sick animals. Only thing I remember being slightly interesting was a Daimler convertible that looked like 1950s. I expect this qualifies me as an imcdb member A friend asked me yesterday to show her how to catch up on an episode of the remake on her PC, and so I watched the episode. When I saw it was set in the 1930s, I wondered if they had changed the setting from 1950s. I looked up the Daimler on imcdb for the original series and it was not there. I wondered if I was going mad, but then I found this on the internet. Sorry I can’t name the model of Daimler These pictures indicate it was s7.e13 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

There is a Daimler expert who pops up occasionally, and will no doubt provide information about this car. It looks too big to be a DB18 Special, possibly one of the big DR420 models, but not certain. |
