It appears to be a Ferguson Brown Model A The Ferguson-Brown Company was a British agricultural machinery manufacturing company formed by Harry Ferguson in partnership with David Brown. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferguson-Brown_Company "Following the successful 1933 demonstration of his Black Tractor, Harry Ferguson spent the next couple of years overcoming certain problems with the hydraulic system. In 1935 these difficulties had been resolved and a deal was struck whereby David Brown Tractors would build the machines at their Huddersfield works and Harry Ferguson Ltd would sell them." https://www.ferguson-museum.co.uk/ferguson_brown.htm Could be either listed as a Ferguson or Ferguson-Brown? |

If any of our tractor fans are interested there's a recent doc on BBC iPlayer - Patrick Kielty’s Tractor Wars: Ferguson v Ford. Haven't watched it, but may get round to it at some stage. However I'm not planning to post it, so open house for anyone else to add. |
