Yep.
The pics are 699x271.
To have them to the right formate (2.35:1), we should force the pics into a 699x297.

Am I authorized to do the transformation?

 I don't think the image quality will improve, since Toho Studios pulled the film from circulation entirely in 1980 after protests from anti-nuclear groups.
The only versions to find are American VHS versions and rare Japanese prints.

 Q-Ball, it was not a matter of quality of print but formate, image ratio. It is now improved.
